Day 9: We have just spent three full days in Yellowstone Park.  It was really fun, especially yesterday when we went to a swimming hole and swam through the rapids.  We also saw a bear from really far away and took a long, rainy hike to see a waterfall that I think was over 100 feet.  We saw Old Faithful, which is probably the most famous geyser in the world, and we saw a waterfall of really, really hot, almost boiling water which made the path where the water flowed white like marble.  We saw a lot of animals like deer, elk, bison, a marmot, and we even heard a wolf (or coyote) howling.  Today we went whitewater rafting on the Snake River and it was scary at times, but really fun.  We all wanted to do it again.  I am excited to sleep in a bed tonight after 4 nights in a tent and I hope we will get a little relaxation time.  Bye for now!!

We are now on our 6 hour drive, but this morning we went to Jewel Cave.  It was really cool, and really cold!! :-) There was water dripping down the rocks that looked like caramel, and something on the wall called cave bacon.  It was basically a 20-foot structure of dried rock or something that looked exactly like bacon.  It was so cool.  Tonight, we will get to Cody, WY and tomorrow we are going to Yellowstone.  I am really excited.
